Thanksgiving and Deer Season

Well, time marches on. Matt was home for Thanksgiving and we really enjoyed his visit. We had my niece Kristy Christian come over and take pictures of our family for us. They turned out very good, and it was nice to be able to choose the ones we wanted to use at our leisure. We didn't have as many people for Thanksgiving dinner as we had thought we would, but we had a good time. We had our dinner at the church, where there is a lot of room to work on dinner and the kids can run.

We made our usual trip to the Christmas Tree Farm. That is an adventure for everyone.

We took Matt to the airport on Sunday morning the 28th of Nov. Joel had to go back home to work, so Jennifer and Ellis stayed with us for the week between Thanksgiving and deer season.

Jennifer Ellis and I headed for JD & Soni's on the 3rd of Dec. for deer season. My birthday is always during deer season. Jennifer hunted for the first time this year. Jerry got a nice 13 point buck on Saturday the 4th. On Sunday the 5th, the last night we were there, Jennifer got a nice little 4 point buck.

We went to Colorado with JD & Soni on Christmas morning. It was a nice visit and we had a good time. I'll write more about it later.
