David and Alex were spending last night, so I asked them if they would like to sleep out on the deck in the screen house. They helped put it up, and we brought up mattresses to lay on, plus a reclining lawn chair. It was a perfect night to sleep out, and we watched the space station go over and satellites too. Alex and Grandpa ended up sleeping in the house, but David and I stuck it out.

We are having a wonderful
 cool morning, with a little
rain shower thrown in. Our
evening was very relaxing,
and we spent about an hour
on the deck in the swing just
 watching the clouds go by. 
The sunset was gorgeous.

The barn swallows were lined up on the electric lines side by side almost clear down to the road.  They were feeling their oats and zipping all around the house.  One flew right in front of us, about 2 feet in front of our swing.  What a wonder it is to watch the day burst into such glorious color and then fade into night!
