What a weekend
We have had a whirlwind weekend and a few days. On Thursday the 8th, Matt was coming in to KC. He was supposed to be in at 1:30. JD and Soni went after him. His plane got delayed because of mechanical problems. He spent most of his first day of vacation in the airport. He was delayed for about 5 hours. Michelle and Bradley were coming from San Antonio to KC on Friday the 9th, then drove down to El Dorado. We met Vickie, Jerry, Heath, Janelle, and Ella from Dallas, in El Dorado at the bowling alley for Tim's 50th birthday. Jennifer, Ellis, Piper and Jerry had been staying with us since Thanksgiving. Joel and Shelby had to go back to Colorado for work the Sunday after Thanksgiving. We had a good time bowling and eating cake and drinking punch with friends and family. We had a pretty good crowd there, hopefully everyone had fun. The people that Tim worked with at CCL in El Dorado got to come and see him at the party. After the party we headed back to our house with our entourage of family. On Saturday afternoon, we had our pictures taken at a wonderful old barn down the road, at Richard and Marla Browning's. Jerry's friend Jeff Moore took them for us. Afterwards we headed back to our house for our Christmas together. Jeff shared our meal and our crazy White Elephant gift exchange. The Angels that drove from Dallas left Sunday morning, as well as the Marshalls, and Jerry and Shelby. Micelle and Bradley got to stay till Monday noon. Matt got to stay till Tuesday afternoon. It was so nice to see everyone. Jennifer and Joel sent their new family pictures for their Christmas cards this year. These are the ones Jeff took for us.
